Office Web Application : Real Multiplatform

Microsoft takes office into web at PDC this year finally. The web-based office allow user create, edit and collabroation WORD,Excel,PowerPoint and OneNote online.

Most people concern about should we use Office Web Application with IE or with silverlight? According to Sarah Perez, Office Web Application will not require Windows, IE and silverlight.

We can use Office Web Application at Linux and we can use FireFox or Safari instead of IE.

I think Office Web Application is the first really cross-platform product of Microsoft, this would be a best way for Microsoft. Because world is changing now, cross-platform will extend Microsoft product market.
